HOW DO I KNOW IF I QUALIFY FOR A CANNABIS CARD?
Under the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use act 28 medical conditions have been approved for the medical use of cannabis. These medical conditions must be chronic, debilitating and cannabis benefits must be greater than the risks. Each medical condition requires medical proof you are currently symptomatic. WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
New patients must submit or complete a release of authorization to obtain medical records. Once records are received by our office an appointment will be made for your certification. All new and reenrolling patients must have a valid NM ID or NM Drivers license. Note: New PTSD evaluations are not subject to medical records prior to scheduling.
ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?
Unfortunately, no. Cannabis is still considered a Schedule 1 drug. Due to this classification Insurances will not knowingly cover medical expenses related to cannabis evaluations or cannabis medicine. Our pricing Structure of services makes getting your medicine more affordable.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT? DO YOU OFFER WALK-IN CLINIC SERVICES?
During COVID-19 we encourage all patients to make an appointment. Our Albuquerque Office appointments take place Tuesday and Thursdays, walk ins or same day appointments are only available on these days. Las Cruces Clinic appointments are Wednesdays and Fridays.
